Wiki Guidelines
The focus of this Wiki and ultimately the parent organization (https://Chilopoda.org) is about centipedes. Any content on this Wiki should be related to them in some way. Written content should be in academic English, and media should be ideally approaching professional work. WikiChilopoda is not a primary source. All content should be attributed to a credible academic source, with priority given to those with an academic consensus.
Administrators have total discretion at all times.
Page Guidelines
Pages should be straight to the point and satisfy one of several goals:
-A general species/taxonomic rank page, going over their classification, description, identification, distribution, biology, etc.
-A more focused identification page (including keys).
-An overarching topic in work with Chilopoda, such as general centipede morphological terms, preserving specimens, etc.
Discussion Guidelines
Discussion should be kept civil and mostly relevant to centipedes. Bigotry and inappropriate material is not tolerated whatsoever.
Attribution Guidelines
Attribution is necessary whenever possible, and should be done in APA format. Some leeway is given with regards to time between writing content and properly attributing it, but a page should only be considered 'finished' when it's entirely cited.
